Grant Lowe has worked in arts, culture and heritage development in many different capacities for over two decades; as performer, community artist, local authority arts officer, heritage outreach officer, creative producer and visitor experience manager.
Grant has devised new trails and walks for the National Trust, he was part of the Trust’s ‘trails’ working group and created numerous seasonal family trails at Hardcastle Crags. Creating walking routes that balance the site’s needs with a visitor journey that is both safe and engaging.
Our experience makes us
Grant has created experiences directly from archive materials, in developing FootFall he led a team of volunteers and staff, then commissioned a team of creatives to produce a large scale outdoor promenade performance, deep in the woodland at Hardcastle Crags.
This was captured on film, FootFall and was acknowledge as one of the most successful parts of the ‘People ‘s Landscape’ national program.
Content planning and presentation allied with well researched walking routes were key to the success event.
